Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008)

This lecture deals with the concept of quality management systems and how management is required to commit to a meaningful quality policy, create customer focused quality objectives, and deploy them throughout the organization.

Particular focus will be given to the clauses and requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standards and how companies have to demonstrate their abilities to consistently provide products or services that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Sahban has over 15 years of experience in quality & improvement, from gap analysis, process mapping, reengineering, and development to training. He has served & developed quality management system for Qatar Petroleum, and other organizations in the State of Qatar (Amiri Diwan, Ministry of Energy & Industry, Central Tender Committee, Office of Her Highness Sheikha Mozzah Bint Nasser, Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industry).
